Northwestern University chose Saba Cloud so employees could learn and engage in mentorship and focus on professional development
Northwestern University embarked on a journey to create a learning culture for its 7,000 staff that support 3,500 faculty across 12 different schools. As they worked at creating the groundwork for the new learning culture, one goal was clear: Northwestern wished to bring employees together by using a variety of learning programs where they could grow, engage in mentorship and focus on professional and leadership development.
Northwestern selected Saba Cloud because the platform could integrate three important focus areas: learning, performance management and social sharing. Moving far beyond a "compliance only" effort, Northwestern knew their new learning culture depended on a robust LMS platform where people could learn as well as engage with the performance management process.
As Northwestern rolls out the performance management part of their learning integration, they are enjoying increased excitement from employees who are eager to link learning and performance targets. With learning and performance management in one place, Northwestern is rapidly moving toward one of its primary goals to produce great leaders for the University staff and faculty.
